CHILDREN’S PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Background: I grew up in Olympia and Seattle, Washington, and made my way down to Sunny San Diego in 2016. Though I originally pursed a degree in education, my career path let me into nearly 20 years in banking and finance. Even during those years, my heart was always drawn to children. And in the sweetest, most faithful way, God brought me back to that calling. In 2018, I began attending Grace Church, and that same year I met my husband. Grace quickly became home. I started serving in Grace Kids and the Awana program in 2023, and in 2024, I stepped into the Grace Kids Resident role. It was there that I clearly sense God affirming His call on my life to serve in children’s ministry.

Current Role: Today, I’m so grateful to serve as the Children’s Director at Grace Church! I oversee lesson planning, organize Grace Kids events, and have the joy of leading our incredible team of volunteers who faithfully serve each week. My passion is creating a space where children feel safe, known, and loved. A place where they’re excited to learn about God! One of my greatest joys is hearing kids talk about Jesus in their own words, watching them grow in their faith, and seeing them have fun while they learn. Even more, I consider it an incredible privilege to walk alongside families as we disciple their children together. Partnering with parents to help raise a generation that knows, loves, and follows Jesus.

Hobbies: Camping, going to the beach, zoo, reading, arts & crafts, puzzles, and attending sports games.

Fun Fact: I have a fascination with armadillos, love scary thrill rides and I have been skydiving. I also love all desserts!
