Gateway Seminary—a renowned Baptist theological institution with over 80 years of ministry training in California—is now partnering with Grace Church San Diego!

We’re thrilled to become an official satellite campus, offering theological education that equips leaders for lasting Gospel impact. Through this partnership, you can now pursue a Master of Theological Essentials (MTE) right here at our Grace Church campus. This flexible, hybrid program combines in-person classes at the church with online learning options, allowing you to prepare for ministry where you live and serve.

MASTERS OF THEOLOGICAL ESSENTIALS

Ready to get started? You can enroll in this 36-credit Master’s program with a Bachelor’s degree. Don’t have a BA? No problem! Start with Gateway’s Diploma Program, and after completing just 15 credit hours, you can transition into the Master’s program. Here are the courses you’ll take:

    Schedules are flexible with accessible formats including weekend, online and in-person options. Courses at Grace will be held on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays for intensives. Our next cohorts begins in January and runs for X# of months.

    We are currently seeking church members interested in starting the MTE program in January. Please attend our Info Meeting with Gateway reps on Sunday, October 19 at 12:30 in the MPR. All steps in the enrollment process will be explained.
