Dear Friends,
"When the time had fully come, God sent His Son (Jesus), born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father.' So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir" (Galatians 4:4-7).
That sounds like a reason for a great celebration that God would do such an awesome thing that we might become His children and heirs of all He is and has. Glory to His name! Let us exclaim with the Apostle John, "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1). Selah!
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (John 1:14)
We are so grateful to God that He has brought us to the great age of both of us becoming octogenarians and still have the health, mobility, and desire to continue serving King Jesus. Please rejoice with us and give Him the glory He deserves. Also praise Him that all 25 members of the Drake clan are in good health and growing in the Lord.
We pray that 2008 will prove to be a year of developing a deeper walk with Jesus. We thank God for you and the unique contribution you make to the Body. We really appreciate your prayers.
