For Parents

Here is what you can expect if it is your first time at Grace Kids: A warm body will greet you at the door and help you register your family, and then lead you to the right classroom. You will get a nametag for your child, and a claim check to retrieve them after the service. Don't loose this! This is the way to get your child back! Dropoff your child in their classroom, meet their teachers, and enjoy the worship service knowing that your child is safe, learning about Jesus, and having tons of fun!

All of our environments are safe, clean, and kid-friendly. Each of our volunteers has been thoroughly screened. Through an extensive application, a personal interview, two recommendations, and a comprehensive background check, Grace Kids holds safety as a top priority. The only people allowed in the building are screened staff members, parents, or children. All visitors must check in, and we are sure to send home children with the right adult.

Our curriculum comes from First Look and 252 Basics, a company that strives to partner parenting and the church. Be sure to pick up your parent take home, which will give you insights to what your children are learning, and creative ways to reinforce the lessons at home. Both Small Talk (for preschool parents) and The Refrigerator Door (for elementary parents) can be found with your child's small group leaders.

Parents, you may also want to check out www.familytimes.org. This is a great tool for families to grow in faith together. The family times are centered around what the kids are learning about at church!
