Link Events
These are events that are designed around age or life-stage related demographic. The three goals link events are:
1. A place to connect with others with whom you share things in common.
2. A place to serve the community and reach out to real needs.
3. A springboard to form Connect groups.
Examples of Link Groups: Professionals from Mid 20s to Mid 30s, Families with preschool children, Families with elementary age kids, families with Teens, Seniors, Empty Nesters etc.
These events are design to meet our need to connect socially. The social events take place once a month with opportunities to reach out to our community in service every other month.
Connect groups:
These are groups with a limited term commitment, for connection with other believers. We launch three of these each year. Semesters run from February to April, June to August, and October to December. Hosts are given materials and ideas to lead a group. The training is minimal because the materials essentially lead the group. These groups may be men only, women only or various other combinations. For more information: Email Erika Thomas at
Men's and Women's Ministries:
Men's ministries: Our strategy for men's development is through men's connect groups. We do have a couple of men's events each year which is an exciting time of men getting to know each other, but the goal of each event is to get men into Connect Groups where they can grow emotionally and spiritually.
