All ministries must fit within the purpose of Grace.  We want to avoid producing people who are consumers or spectators only.  We want the people of Grace to move through a process of personal development in Christ. Like shifting through the gears in a sports car in which one progresses sequentially through a set of gears increasing in movement, we see the people of Grace moving ahead in God's purpose from: 1. Worship of God to; 2. Connection with believers to; 3. Serving the church to; 4. Reaching out in evangelism.

 
Gear 1: Worship

Our weekend church services are designed to give new and mature believers a clear call to love God, and to give those who have not yet made a decision to follow Christ the opportunity to see what it's all about.  The people who call Grace their home value attending faithfully, praying regularly and giving generously.

 
Gear 2: Connect

Connection Groups are designed to give people an opportunity to connect with other believers on an intimate level. We expect the people of Grace to commit to a Connection Group.

 
Gear 3: Serve

Our ministries are designed to meet needs and to give an environment for our people to invest their spiritual gifts. We expect the people of Grace to serve in one ministry.

• Weekend Worship Services: bands, choirs, parking teams, first impressions, ushers, tech teams, etc...
• Small Groups: facilitators, hosts, prayer coordinators, care leaders, etc...
• Kids Ministries: Teachers, ad min help, security teams, etc...
• Youth Ministries: Leaders, teachers, counselors, etc...
• Support: facilities, maintenance, office, photography, graphic design, etc...

 
Gear 4: Reach

Our outreach ministries are designed to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ both at home and abroad. We expect the people of Grace to invite their friends to church, sharing their faith and involvement in the reach teams.

• Micro-Missions (short term missions)
• Evangelistic ministry teams
• Inviting friends to church
• Lifestyle evangelism
• Ministry evangelism Teams, e.g. Mechanics that provide oil change for single mothers who need help, or providing after school tutoring to students, etc... 

All potential team members of Grace will go through our "Team Orientation Class."  This will serve as an introduction to ministry for all who would like to join "Team Grace."  They will be invited to join Grace after satisfactorily sharing their faith in Christ and expressing a willingness to sign our ministry covenant.  After completing the team orientation class they will be encouraged to join our T.E.A.M. training in one of our ministry areas: Worship,  Connection Groups, Kids, Youth, or Support. As they connect and serve they will be challenged to become active in our "reach teams."  Our training classes are the following:

• T.E.A.M. (Together Embracing Active Ministry)

                Ministry training (Kids, Youth, Worship, Small Groups)

• Reach

                Evangelism training (Reach Teams and Micro-Missions)

• Lead 

                 Leadership training (Elder and Lay Staff)
