Jack Palmer - Chairman of the Elder Board

Jack Palmer and his family started attending Grace in 1962 and he and Betty have been here since.  The three kids have grown up, married and moved on.  Two of them attend Shadow Mountain with their families and the third lives in South Carolina with her ten year old son.  Jack and Betty have a total of five grandkids. Jack moved to San Diego to start work for the San Diego County Probation department, where he worked for about 32 years.  Since retiring he has been a volunteer Chaplain at Juvenile Hall, where he works with teenaged boys.


Wayne Clookie

Wayne is an Investigator for the District Attorney's 

Office.  He and his wife Barbara have three sons and they have been attending Grace for the past eight years.  Wayne is is serving his second term as an Elder at Grace.

 

 

 

Thomas Gregory

Tom served 20 years in the U.S. Navy in the aviation field,  retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. Tom is a private pilot,  certified scuba  diver, and holds many financial licenses. He  has Business  Degrees from the  University of Maryland and  National  University. Tom is now a Regional Vice President  with  Primerica, a Citi Company where he helps people get  out of  debt and become financially independent. He has  attended  Grace for over 9 years; is married and has three  children and  three grandchildren. Tom is serving his second  term as an Elder at Grace.

Tim Owen

Tim has been attending Grace Church for 3 years. Over the course of his 6-year marriage, he and his wife Roxanna had attended two churches. Within the first few weeks at Grace they new that it would be the church where their family could get grounded and involved. Tim and Roxanna have two children, Isabella and Ethan. They look forward to being at Grace for many years and seeing the  Church make an impact in the lives of members and the community. Tim is serving his first term as an elder at Grace.
