Elders
Thomas Gregory
Tom served 20 years in the U.S. Navy in the aviation field, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. Tom is a private pilot, certified scuba diver, and holds many financial licenses. He has Business Degrees from the University of Maryland and National University. Tom is now a Regional Vice President with Primerica, a Citi Company where he helps people get out of debt and become financially independent. He has attended Grace for over 9 years; is married and has three children and three grandchildren. Tom is serving his second term as an Elder at Grace.
Tim Owen
Tim has been attending Grace Church for 4 years. Over the course of his 7-year marriage, he and his wife Roxanna had attended two churches. Within the first few weeks at Grace they new that it would be the church where their family could get grounded and involved. Tim and Roxanna have two children, Isabella and Ethan. They look forward to being at Grace for many years and seeing the Church make an impact in the lives of members and the community. Tim is serving his first term as an elder at Grace.
Clif Smith
Clif works as an architect for a small firm in Pacific Beach. He has been married to his wife Sharon for 13 years and they have two sons, Asher (10), and Samuel (7). He enjoys playing and coaching Ultimate Frisbee. Clif has been a Christian for almost 30 years and he has attended Grace for almost 10 years and served in with the youth ministry for about half that time.
Mike Hoover
Mike and his wife Lisa have been married for 33 years and have 3 grown sons. They have a small commercial landscape business which they run with one of their sons. Mike was raised in a Christian family and has held positions in leadership at a few local churches in the past. Mike, Lisa, and their sons have attended Grace for about 2 years and feel called to worship and serve here.
Aaron Burmeister
Aaron and his wife Amber have been attending Grace for about four years. They have a 2-year-old daughter named Abbey. He works as a Mechanical Engineer and is the co-owner of his wife’s photography business. Aaron grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at the age of 5. Aaron and Amber have served with the youth group. He has a passion for missions and youth and he is excited to continue to see God work in and through the people of this great church.
Dr. Tim Scott
Tim has been the Lead Pastor of Grace San Diego for 18 years. He and his wife Kimberly have seven children and enjoy the family life in the context of the Christian community. Tim's greatest love is to study and preach the Word of God to God's people. Tim has been a pastor for over 35 years and looks forward to many more years of service at Grace.
